See!
Even the Macy's marketing people agree with me. Sure enough, while watching TV last night, I saw an ad for Macy's sale on "spring clothing," including dresses for women. There were three models, all dressed in nice, brightly-colored, simple dresses that clearly say "Spring is here!" (metaphorically, of course). I thought, "Well, now where the heck were those dresses when I was in Macy's today?" So, I went to Macy's website, looked up women's dresses, and whaddya know: THE SAME BLACK AND GRAY STUFF I SAW IN THE STORES. So the ad is just a fabrication, basically, to lure you in to the store for things they don't actually have (what ad isn't, I suppose), but I had to laugh because even the Macy's marketing people knew that the stuff they have in the stores DOESN'T LOOK LIKE SPRING CLOTHING, hence the need to put models in something else for the TV ad! I feel totally vindicated, if still without any options for Easter Sunday churchwear.
