Good Intentions

Well, here we are, months later, and I'm finally adding to my blog. Believe me folks, I would LOVE to blog more, but man, have I been busy! Had another baby - that'll do it right there. While pregnant, I was also working part-time while raising my daughter full-time, so I had my hands full. Now that the baby's arrived, I'm busy in a whole new way, but I hope to have time to write now on occasion. Funny thing - I have PLENTY to say, and even occasionally have time to write, but sometimes, I'm just more motivated to sit and stare at my kids than to log on and blog. Oh, and until today, I'd forgotten my login and password, so that didn't help. :)

Read an article today about a 17-year old who's established a million dollar online business, making page layouts for Myspace pages. Boy, did that make me feel old and unaccomplished. I think of all the possible websites I could create, and then I think, "yeah, but then I'd have to get proficient at html or web design or RSS feeds or whatever, and then I'd actually have to sit my butt down and work at it, and heck, I'd rather just take my kids for a walk." Lazy? Well, maybe, but boy, do I enjoy life, if a bit poorer.

Not my best work tonight folks, but at least it's a post. Better than nothing, right? Hopefully, it won't be quite so long 'til my next one.
